BSG Review: “Downloaded”

Had fun waiting for BSG to come on last night between scar_bsg75, visiting the Cylon Cafe (We have a mean plan....TROD! TROD!), and general wackiness at the HD5 chat (Alcohol inspired greek myth parallells...hee). I was watching SG1 and SGA at the same time, but both were kind of on the boring side. More on that when a get around to posting my SG1 and SGA backlog of reviews. Definitely have to visit the HD5 chatroom more often.Oh and Doctor Who coming to Skiffy? Yay!Anyway on to the review.====*SPOILERS FOR "DOWNLOADED"*====This episode was much better than I expected it to...

Galactica 1980

Ow! I think I may have actually lost some brain cells here. Yes, I actually watched a few episodes of Galactica 1980 (aka The Galactica That Never Was(TM) ). I masochistic like that. And yes it is as bad as I remember it being when I saw it as an eight year old. (Or was it nine?) The stories, the dialog, the acting, the hair, the costumes, the crisis of the week, the Galacticans (snigger...snort...almost dies laughing), the annoying kids...bleh. (I truly feel sorry for Kent McCord and Lorne Greene for enduring that drivel.) I think I'm going to go...

Sebacea.com Update 2/20

The good: The subBlackpk skin mod works fine. Also restored some of the web links database (mostly the PHP and Nuke links). The eh: The Prowler skin mod looks awesome except the entire right corner is frelled up. The bad: Still haven't been able to fix the forum errors. Tried out the BBTech skin for the forum. Aside from the forum errors it looks good when used with subBlackpk and Prowler skins. But for now I'll stick with the subSilver skin until I can get everything else working properly again. I think for the redesign of thirdsphere.net I'm going to...

Olympic Hockey

*sniffle* My chosen teams both lost today in Men's Ice Hockey: USA and Kazakhstan. Not looking good: Canada Oh and I think I'm going to hurl if I hear one more person call the Kazakh players Kazakhstanis. They're Kazakhs! (Well those that are not just left over Soviet immigrants. :) )

It’s Alive!!

Just kidding. Sebacea.com is just about fully back up and running. Unfortunately, I couldn't save the database in the Peacekeeper Forum so I've lost all members, their posts, and what not. It kind of sucks but at least some of the posts I had copies of and replace. Other, alas, are gone forever. Which is entirely too bad. There were some awesome discussions that went on there. *sigh* Also still having some small trouble with re-integrating the forum, but I hope to get that fixed tomorrow. I haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking of re-merging Sebacea.com and Thirsphere.Net back together...
