Well 2005 is coming to a close soon. Over all it was a pretty good year for me. I learned lots of new things, got back into blogging (first on Blogger then here on LJ), reinspired to start writing fanfic once more, met new fans of BSG while reacquainting with some ol' Scaper, B5, and EFC fans. Over all a good year, despite the second half of the year spent in a near continuous state of annoyance due to school. Well, I'm actually going to try and meet the new BSG Fic challenge at GA for writting 6 fic in 6 months. Not sure I'll be able to do it, but we'll see how it goes. The requirements for each one are easy enough though the last one I'm not sure I will be able to do since I've never written anything like it before. Ah well. We'll see what happens. Maybe I'll make it. Maybe not.
Wow, hard to believe its been some six, seven days since I've posted. Not surprising I suppose given the holiday season and all that. Hope everyone on the flist had a good holiday for those celebrating the season. Mine was okay, but I honestly want to get back to my own place and spend some quality time away from some of the wacked out relatives. So what did I do today? Nothing except watch the BSG marathon on SciFi and post comments at GA. Heh. So much for doing something productive today.
Ok. I'm having waaayyy too much fun playing BSGO, even with getting my ass handed to me by TDA (and his little Blackbird), MARKII and the gang. I love playing the Raider. Heh. Still some pretty cool moments like getting a double kill. Course five seconds later I got wacked. 😉 Sometimes a bit laggy but that produces some interesting events like invisible ships/bullets, "jumps", the infamous "ghost viper" (well that's what I call it), and what not. Yes. Far too much fun. Maybe I'll make an icon for these BSGO posts.
So what did I do today? Uh...nothing important, probably do to this massive headache I can't seem to get rid of. Heh. Worked on revamping the website (making new graphics, layout, and all that), got my ass handed to me by MARKII playing Galactica Online (I'm sticking to the Raider from now on) but it was still fun and actually inspired a new BSG fanfic One Thousand Deaths (tentative title), checking out new HTML editors (I despise Arachnaphilia now), and puttered around the apartment.

Well had a little fun tonight playing TDA's viper sim game over at Galactica Online before dinner. Made some kills. Got killed. Had fun playing the lone Cylon Raider as everyone else seemed to favor the Vipers and whoever was playing the lone Raptor. I think I even fought TDA at one point. It was hard to tell 'cause cause all four involved were in Vipers. When you twisting and turning like crazy you tend to say screw looking at handles and just shoot anything that is in front of you.
