Okay, I didn't remember seeing Night Stalker after watching the Pilot episode. It was okay, but a little too much X-File's for my taste. I loved X-Files but I was hoping Night Stalker would move a bit beyind that. In the end it kind of came off as a slightly more gory version of X-Files. It did have some of the creepiness I remember from the old Kolchak series. For some reason I just didn't really like the show. Not sure why, though. Maybe I'm burned out on the whole creepy-crawly thing what with Buffy, Angel, Wolf Lake, X-Files, and...

Well today's been a somewhat sucky day. As a result I might not post very often until I think over how to resolve the RL problem. Anyway, on a brighter note: Hurray for the rainstorm outside. Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis tonight! Yay. I don't think I ever seen this new Night Stalker. I've seen a few episodes of the original Kolchak: The Night Stalker but somehow missed this 2005 version. Either that and I did see it, hated it, and promptly forgot all about it. *g* It should be interesting to check out, either way. If I have seen...

Some late comments from the previous weekend's Fallen. Possible spoilers behind the cut. Of note about this miniseries is that one must view it with something of an open mind. The reason for this is that a number of different parts of Christian lore about angels is woven into the story, some of which certain sects of Christianity have proven to intransigent and even intolerant in accepting differing opinions within the Christian faith. Over all it was an okay beginning to the miniseries. The graphics were not particularly note worthy and aside from the primary actors, the acting was somewhat...
Originally pointed out by monkeyfromhell there some Babylon 5 news over at AICN: http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=23963 As an old B5 fan I'm somewhat interested in the news but I think there might be several thing woriking against JMS's latest venture in the B5 universe, not the least is the deaths of Andreas Katsulas and Richard Biggs. Still, I'll be interested to see what comes of it.
Yay. Dead Like Me and Eureka are on tonight. I'd say more but it looks like a major storm is coming in, so I think I'll save any further entries until after Eureka. Hopefully the storm will have passed by then. I love Arizona storms. 🙂
Well the cable is fixed. The tech wasn't thrilled with the problem being a faulty receiver box as he had to replace it. Not a big deal really. Kind of snickered when he commented on the surge protector unit I had the tv, cable receiver, and DVD hooked up to it. Apparently he's never seen anyone use a surge protector designed specifically to protect a "home entertainment center" before. (This is Arizona and I don't particularly feel like frying some electronics because of the monsoon season and sometimes questionable power grids.) Heh. Got to go. Already missed a couple hours...
