After hours of grueling coding (okay, not that grueling, more tedious) and more than a few foul epithets I finally solved the issues I had with the skin I was working on for my eFiction based Thirdsphere Fiction Archive. I really thought the little guy would make it given the fuss he made so soon after being born. I found the black kitten (which I had named Wanderer) I mentioned in the Life, Cats, and Writing entry back on 04/19 dead this morning after going to my mom's house to do some more lawn maintenance for her. How awesome was this episode? Maybe it was the long break since the last episode but I loved this episode. Syler vs Peter was all kind of awesome, though admittedly not that surprising. I still find Isaac dying surprising. Yay! The return of future!Hiro even if it is in the chilling future Hiro and Ando have found themselves. A very satisying episode in my mind. It moved along the plot and had some nice twists and turns along the way.

Warning: Possible Spoilerish short commentary. Stargate SG-1 I actually liked tonights episode. Much more so that last week's snooze fest. The dialogue and plot seemed more like the old school episodes where you actually did feel the characters were in truly in peril. You know Sci Fi Friday just doesn't seem the same anymore. Sure all things change but since the long wait for the return of the Gates and BSG being moved over to Sunday and now gone until 2008 SFF seems...boring. Life and Cats I had mostly a mundane day. Went to a couple of interviews and then over to my mom's house to do some of her lawn maintenance. Geek alert! Well I'm feeling a bit geeky right now having finally figured out how to get BSG type angles using only CSS. (Good bye pesky gifs!) Now i can spam BSG fandom with octogonal paper! Mwahaha! I'm sure there are tutorials or something out there on how to create them but I wanted to figure it out on my own. I should go and see what others haave come up with and see if they have better coding but I'm still pleased with the results none the less. /Geek alert!
