Guild Wars: Guildies suck sometimes

Just a GW rant.Guild members suck sometimes, especially ones you thought were nice, good people and then they screw over their own guild members. Worse is when they have the audacity to boot a bunch of members, get you punted from your alliance, leave en masse to form another guild and then ask you to join them as a member instead of as an officer like in your current guild. And these were the officers that helped build the guild in the first place.Such is what happened today to the guild I am currently in. And then they wonder why...

More Razor Thoughts

Warning: Spoilers!Razor Thoughts 2I still stand by initial rating I gave Razor and am off the opinion that the DVD will fill in some of what I felt was lacking in the movie as shown on TV. I still think Nico Cortez as young Adama did an excellent job, even if they did cut most of his scenes leaving behind probably his least impressive work in Razor. Rewatching some of the space scenes, particularly some of the battle scenes, left me slightly disappointed. Not to say that they weren't visually appealing, but they were relatively weak compared to some of...

Battlestar Galactica: Razor

The following is my initial reaction to viewing the show.Battlestar Galactica: RazorPlot:: The story of the Battlestar Pegasus under Helena Cain and Lee Adama.Miscellaneous Viewing Comments:Nice vis FX of the shipyard.Ah Pegasus, how I've missed you.I need to cap a screen of Shaw's patch and see her previous assignment. Probably someone has already done it but I'm curious.Nice to see Steve Bacic sans facial hair. Haven't seen him that way in role for a while.Ok. No need to beat it over our head. Pegasus was a cold,...

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! OK. A day late, but I was occupied. I hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving (and post-turkey day shopping for those so inclined). It was pretty quiet and dull for my family this year, what with so many recent relatives passing away, one uncle other moving across the country, and the other uncle and aunt occupied dealing with all the fires across the southwestern and Rocky Mountain states and California since last Thanksgiving. We did at least, get to talk a little on the phone and online chats, which was nice.

WGA Strike

Obviously it's been some time since I posted here and at my other two blogs, the Gravity Well (my graphical blog) and Gray's Thirdsphere Blog (my general blog). Despite my desire to post more often, life just seems to be getting in the way. I'm trying (one again) to make at least one post day here (or at the Well or TS Blog). WGA Strike I have to say I am rather impressed with the Writer's Guild of America (WGA) and it's members. I'm even more impressed with the support they've received from executive producers, actors, and other related industry...
