I'm just taking a moment to wish all my Christian friends a Happy Easter.
Murky streams of blackened gold as I stand the land reveals coppers, greens, and golds. And soon too tears of crimson ending days, in the east the winds did blow. The whips and furls rust hued rays snapping golden rays of a red fallen sky and lo' copper star above midnight fields the winds did blow.

I had actually forgotten about it and was channel surfing when I ran across it. Quite amusing.Got much amusement while attempting to watch some show on world's worst natural disasters or some such thing. I should have known it was going to lame when they kept using overly dramatic phrasing while describing what was going on. I gave up after an Arizona dust storm...
A great writer , Arthur C. Clarke, died today. RIP. May we remember his vision and live up to those lofty goals.
So I'm trying to get bak into my fandom groove. What better way to start than...Woot!Looks like Caprica is a go as being reported by Hollywood Reporter [potential spoilers in article for those concerned] and others. Okay it's only a two hour pilot so far, but I'll take it. I also found it interesting that it appears they're making an "social game" or some such based on BSG though not all that surprising given the Stargate game that's been marketed as well.Not so sure about the other potential shows mentioned, but we'll wait and see how they turn out.

Weird, huh?Anyway, I've had somethings going on in my life that have kept me away from blogging here, though I'm still posting away regularly over at Thirdsphere Blog. Put succinctly my mom's cancer may have come back and spread. The early tests were inconclusive so the family is all waiting on the latest results and helping my mom out as much as possible. I wont bore you all with the craziness of misdiagnoses and other assorted medical errors involved except to say that they further undermine what little trust I have...
