Battlestar Galactica 3.04 “Exodus Pt 2”
I apologize for some of the more squeeful, gleeing moments that may follow. 🙂
Plot: As Adama launches his rescue mission and the Resistance continues its efforts to throw the Cylons into disarray members of both groups deal with their obligations to their duties conflicting with the actions of those they love.
Commentary:
- Poor Lee. Distracted over his father’s op. Losing hope.
- Another fabulous Dualla moment, keeping Lee focused and supported in the face of losing everything and everyone he cares about in order to save the rest of humanity.
- Poor Tigh. Having to deal with Ellen’s betrayal.
- *sniff* I’m going to miss Ellen. And poor Saul listening to how Ellen got him freed from detention and then poisoning her. I want to hug the crusty guy. Hell I even want to hug Ellen, despite her betrayal.
- Yay. Galtar finally grows something of a spine in telling the Cylons to leave.
- “Blood for blood. It has to stop one day.”
- And the Resistance attacks begin.
- Heh. If course the Pyramid court is where the weapons are.
- Galactica prowling the nebula like a shark.
- I rather enjoyed the somewhat surprised look on some of the Cylons over hearing Adama had returned. That and Boomer’s almost resigned attitude when reporting it to the others.
- How ironic. Jammer escorting Roslin to Colonial One at Zarek’s order.
- Cool, upper atmosphere jump by Galactica.
- HotDog!
- Sam finding Kara was sweet.
- Galactica has taken a beating and four Baseships incoming. Eek.
- Yay Peggy! Of course we all knew there was a good chance of Lee deciding to bring Pegasus into the fight knowing the odds Galactica faced.
- Sure Adama is ticked but his quiet thanks for saving his ass is heartwarming,
- Kara going back for Kacey.
- Interesting that the Cylons offer Baltar an escape.
- Lee calling for the evacuation of Pegasus. *sniff* Especially his saying goodbye to the Beast. At least she took out two basestars.
- Ah there you are nice twisted Leoben, you religious nutbag you.
- Don’t think he saw Kara’s knife as part of his plan.
- You know if Kacey grows up remembering all this she’s going to be one screwed up kid without therapy.
- Maya bought it as did her guards, but Hera/Isis is still alive.
- Nice to see the fleet back together.
- And Kacey’s real mom is there. Poor Kara. She had come to really believe Kacey was hers.
- Loved Adama welcoming everyone back, especially the hug for Lee and greeting Saul.
- Poor Saul. And Kara. And
- “This is life.”
- Goodbye Stache.
- Galactica feels like home again.
Miscellaneous Comments:
*satisfied sigh* This episode was everything I had been hoping for all week. Drama, suspenseful, loss, action, you name it. I’m left here wishing it wasn’t over so soon.
Noo! Not the Pegasus. At least she went down fighting in grand style. I’m going to miss that ship. She was a beauty and a huntress. I had kind of hoped they would keep the Pegasus around for a while but considering they kept her around as long as did I am happy. Nice shark. Pretty shark.
